  • Joseph began recording the meeting for easier access later

Issues and concerns about the current prototype created for the public portion of the site:

  1. The public will have no access to actual database
  2. There will be a link to this site from cctexas.com
  3. Client stated that it maybe easier to have the link from ccparkandrec.com
  4. PELA decided to bring this up during meeting with Ms. Cable.
  5. Registration form (Reg. form) will be for use by both children and adults
  6. The Reg. form will be also used for summer camps and also for after school programs
  7. The Reg. form needs to allow for choosing a class or course to attend.
  8. For the release form, there will be no Parent/Guardian for people over 18yrs of age.
  9. At the end of the Reg. form, the client would like a contact number For more Information.
  10. Also, upcoming events, classes etc. and directions on how to pay for first class.

Issues and concerns about the current prototype created for the administrator portion of the site(aka) the actual database:

  1. Geis explained the prototype to the cleint.
  2. Database would be per center because of too many employees and easier implementation
  3. Incident report and Discipline referral will be put on hold until the end of the project. The client agreed.
  4. Performance measures report will be generated from the enrollment sheet not the receipt part.
  5. It will show the number of active customers per month in a given year.
  6. Enrollment sheet - used for a sign in sheet before the class begins.
  7. The customer must have a reciept number to be included in the enrollment sheet.
  8. There needs to be a submit button on the enrollment sheet for peformnace measures to be created.
  9. Administrator will have access to everything.
  10. Staff members in the centers will not have access to other databases but their own.
  11. PELA needs to have 5 different databases created for the client for each center.
  12. The emergency contact list might be an issue.
  13. Extensive amount of time spent discussing this issue.
  14. It needs to have the following - a seperate enrollment sheet for manual ticking, a seperate enrollment screen with clicking a checkbox and choosing a class otpion.
  15. The enrollment sheet should generate a condensed list for emergency contacts:
  16. Emergency contact list will have the following fields only - Name, age, Parents name, home and work numbers
  17. Payments by individuals - generates a total number of receipts and total amount paid for entire registation period.
  18. At this point the client felt confident about the development of this project.
  19. For the specialist form we need to ask Ms. Cable about the vendor number and access to it for our form.
  20. Another issue was the creation of a new class link in the main menu of our prototype.
  21. Add class, edit class and delete class need to be options for the administrator only for security purposes.
  22. The advertisement of the completed package will include PSA announcements, mail outs, guides and such a like.
